Watercolor Flower Card #1

Hi everyone! This year I'm branching out and trying some new techniques with my card making. I don't know about you but I have a huge stash of unused product. My resolution for the new year is to learn how to use the plethora of stuff in my stash!

To get the most out of my stash I'm also challenging myself to see how many different ways I'm able to use one stamp. Today's card is the first in a mini series featuring the Watercolor Flower rubber stamp by Art Impressions.

Last weekend I picked up some pastels at a local art supply store.  They are really inexpensive.  I got 48 pastels for just $15.  I used this fun tutorial by The Frugal Crafter to create this card.

The Girls

Hi everyone!  I thought I'd share this really cute photo of the girls snuggling.  This morning it's a little warmer outside so they braved the chilly air and went out on our deck for some fresh air.

Marvels Of Nature III

Hi everyone!  On this card I pulled out and dusted off some supplies that I've not used in a very long time.  The background was created using Denim, Stream, Eggplant and Espresso Adirondack Alcohol Ink and Blending Solution.

Next I used Marvels Of Nature III rubber stamps by Innovative Stamp Creations to add the tree and birds.  Over that I stamped white ink using my French Script background stamp.  To embellish the card I added the sentiment and black bow.

The layout for this card was inspired by the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 251.

Tobaggan Ride

Hi my crafty friends!  Are you having a fabulous weekend?!?  I went shopping with one of my best friends today and got some new goodies.  We stopped at Barnes & Noble and I picked out some new paperback books one of which I have a date with tonight!  Before I start reading my new book I wanted to share this cute winter card I created.  The snowman image is the Toboggan Ride digital stamp by From The Heart Stamps.

Retro Sketches #146

Hi my crafty friends and Happy New Year!  I hope you had a wonderful and merry holiday season and amongst spending time with family and friends found a few quite moments for yourself!

Today's clean and simple card was inspired by the sketch challenge #146 at Retro Sketches. There is just a wee bit of snow on the ground here and is so white and pretty. I finished the inside of this card to compliment the front of the card and added a pocket to send a gift card for a warm drink on a cold winter's day.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
