Gooseberry Falls State Park

Hi everyone! Today I've a two page layout of Gooseberry Falls State Park to share. I originally completed this layout years ago and after looking at it again decided to kick it up a notch.

On this page I added the small labels at the top of the photos to identify the upper, middle and lower falls.  Using a decorative edge scissors I cut out and adhered the trees using green cardstock for the trees and brown cardstock for the tree base.

On this page I added the small labels at the top of the photos to identify the upper, middle and lower falls, more trees, the journaling strips and hardware. I love the added details and am so glad I took the time to update this layout.

Do Not Feed The Wildlife

Hi everyone!  Today I'm playing along with the anything goes challenge at Challenge Yourself.  This is a two page layout of my husband and I camping at Gooseberry Falls State Park.

We had brought along a box of malted milk balls to snack on while sitting by the fire.  As we were setting up camp we noticed a chipmunk climb up and into the trunk of our car.  At the time we thought the chipmunk was eating an acorn.  When we went to get our malted milk balls there was a hole chewed in the side of the box.  It was then we realized the chipmunk had been feasting on our malted milk balls.

Split Rock Lighthouse

Hi everyone!  Wishing you a fabulous 2016!

Today I have a layout from our summer travels to Split Rock Lighthouse. The lighthouse is on the north shore of Lake Superior in northern Minnesota.

This layout was inspired by this months ARTastic Challenge to create something summer themed. I love being by the water in the summer and the shoreline of Lake Superior is one of our favorite spots.

Furry Friends by Avery Elle

Hi everyone!  Today's project was created using this adorable puppy from the Furry Friends clear stamp set by Avery Elle.  The background was created using the paw prints embossing folder on white cardstock and distressing the edges with brown distress ink.

I'm off work today and just completed the Scrapbook Design & Storytelling class at Craftsy.  I loved the class and recommend it to anyone who scrapbooks.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
