Two Little Kittens

Hi everyone!  Wishing you a crafty weekend.  I started volunteering at the local humane society last weekend and am in training to take care of the animals.  My weekly shift is on Sunday afternoon.  I'm working on some thank you cards to bring when I go tomorrow.

This card is quick and easy but oh so cute.  I distressed all the layers with CTMH Chocolate Distress Ink.  The adorable image is the Two Little Kittens rubber stamp by Frogs Whiskers Ink.  I stamped the image using the distress ink and highlighted some of it using G43, G46, and B45 copic markers.  To finish the card I added some green and orange sequins.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
I've a couple graduations in the family so will be back soon to share the graduation cards I'm working on.

Whimsical Cat

Hi everyone!  Today I'm making Thank You cards for the local humane society.

For my design I drew inspiration from the current Retro Sketches Challenge #160.

I colored the image using copic markers and embellished the card with brown satin ribbon and jute twine.

Watercolor Flower Card #2

Hi everyone! I tried a couple new techniques in making this card. I embossed the image with white embossing powder then colored the image with watercolor paint. I also used watercolor paint to create the light blue background. I distressed the around the edges of the layers with vintage photo distress ink

Even the cats got involved today. I filled a little dish with fresh water and Sandy drank half of it before I could get started. She then played with the rest of it which gave my image a nice wet base (ha ha).
